Stone and Wood Fusion Murals - Carved Natural Stone with Seasoned Hardwood
When you combine real stone with seasoned hardwood on a wall, you get genuine physical depth, warmth and texture that plain wall paint and tiles cannot deliver. At Stone World, our stone and wood fusion murals bring together hand-chiseled stones like Gwalior mint sandstone, black slate and Banswara marble with seasoned CP teakwood (sagwan), Sheesham and reclaimed boat timber. The cool surface of the stone works together with the warm grain of natural wood to create solid 3D relief art made for drawing rooms, living halls, pooja rooms and luxury bungalows.
Every stone and wood fusion mural is made to order by our Rajasthani karigars at our stone workshop. Our artisans carve floral jaali patterns, geometric shapes and traditional Indian motifs directly into thick natural stone slabs. Our carpenters then mill, shape and inlay seasoned hardwood sections to sit flush or stand out in relief. Both materials are finished by hand so they look unified on your wall.
In Indian weather, wood and stone behave differently. Wood moves slightly with monsoon moisture and summer heat, while stone remains rigid. We engineer hidden expansion grooves along all joint lines and bond the pieces using flexible construction polymers on a marine-grade ply backing. This keeps the wood from bending, cracking or pushing against the stone during heavy monsoons.
Whether you want a double-height feature wall in your living room, a peaceful backdrop for your home mandir, an entrance foyer panel or a boardroom art piece, we make it to your exact wall measurements. You can pick the stone variety, wood polish shade, carving depth and pattern style to match your home interior scheme.
